Why does the app ask for Calendar permission?

To let you sync lunar events you create in the app into your Apple Calendar, so they appear alongside your Gregorian events. You can use the app without granting this permission; you just won't be able to push events into Apple Calendar.

Why does the app ask for Location permission?

The Map tab uses your location to show where you are and to help you add nearby places for your lunar events. The app does not transmit your location anywhere — it stays on the device.

How does iCloud sync work?

If you enable iCloud sync, your events are stored in your own private CloudKit database. They appear on every device signed in to the same Apple ID. Apple hosts the database; the app developers cannot read it.

I found a wrong lunar date / wrong holiday

Please email us the date in question. The conversion algorithm is derived from the VietCalendar (Java) reference; if you've identified a discrepancy from an authoritative source, please cite it in the report.

How do I reset the app?

Delete the app from your device, then reinstall from the App Store. Your iCloud-synced events will return if iCloud sync is on; local-only events will not.
